Words of Wisdom - Lucio C. Tan

WORDS OF WISDOM
Lucio C. Tan

·                    I am ready to pay a high price to buy tolerance. Tolerance offers space for thinking; and if you budge a bit, many possibilities emerge.

·                    Intelligence and talent are important, but kindness and generosity are also decisive factors in winning.
·                    Success means staying ahead of time.

·                    Size is not important. What counts is strength.

·                    A person should not attach too much importance to himself to the neglect of the collective.

·                    Money is good and bad at the same time. Do not become a slave of it.

·                    Follow the principle of mutual benefi and equal opportunity in doing business, and the economy prospers.

·                    Success is the best revenge to your enemies and critics.

·                    With a brain and 10 fingers, a person can earn a living anywhere in the world.

·                    Taking calculated risks does not constitute blindness. The tougher the task, the more necessary it is that you should accomplish it.

·                    A good entrepreneur should try his utmost to preserve and expand his assets and regard this as his lifeline.

·                    It is unwise to envy others and even wasteful to try to ruin them.

·                    Even the accomplished suffer setbacks sometimes. The more bitter the lessons, the greater the successes will be.

Challenges make people all the more courageous through setbacks and fill their lives with vitality
