i wonder why i lost 7lbs. in a week while having 2-3 servings of rice in my meals?!
monday last week, 159lbs., today 152lbs.?!

swimscapades

did 1:30hr swim and 1:10 strengthening.
+ pinakbet for lunch, i think i had 3 servings of rice damn...
but it was good. so good!

did 8K detox run after 6 days or rice. will be back on normal programming starting lunch. am gaining weight. happy to see bikers going up and down my training ground. will hit the pool on monday \m/

running back


been 3 weeks now---am running again. i missed running so much. it was a good 30day rest since i got injured courtesy of 34th Milo. i tried running 2 weeks after that but my legs are really complaining. but hey, am back on the roads. it was nice to see bikers going up and down my training ground. they're all friendly. we'd wave at each other. will do MTB soon. meantime, will work on my time trials and some swimming. need to swim faster for next year's Ironman. need to run stronger for next year's Ultramarathon.

I ate Bayawak!

First time to eat "bayawak" [Philippine Monitor Lizard] a cousin of the Komodo Dragon specie.
These 2 boys, made it possible for us to taste bayawak together with Red Horse Extra Strong Beer [Ito Ang Tama!]. they did Bicol Express - a native dish from the Bicol Province courtesy of Cris, the Master Baker [he's a Baker by training] and Ginataang Adobong Bayawak courtesy of Cris again.
Tastes like Talunang Manok [Adobo sa Gata na Manok na natalo sa Sabong]
